“Right lads keep up the good work and I will see you in the red lion for your report.” The general and his runner left for the next post.
They were walking down past the lower boundary wall of the village. When they past a large tree an Alien stepped out. The general pushed the runner out of the way of the alien, and fired his gun at the same time. The shot hit the gun on the alien’s arm. The thing could not use it. But then it turned on the general. He went to club the thing but it started to get closer to the general. The alien’s thrust out its tongue and hit the general on the upper arm. There was a terrible tearing sound as the generals arm was torn from his body.
At last the young man came to life and fired at the aliens head. The thing went down its head had just about been blown from the body. The general fell back against the tree. “Holding what was left of his arm he said. “Well done son.” the young man took off his belt and tied it around the general’s upper arm. and said. “We will have to get you back to the lion sir, can you walk.” “Yes I think I can my boy.” They started to walk back to the red lion, with the help of the young lad the general made it half way. Then the general said. “Young man I hate to admit it but I have to rest here. “We will have
